Each child has their own key person who supports the child’s development and emotional well-being. ❤ 😍🤗
Your child’s key person is an important role model for your child; someone who they can relate to and rely on. Children thrive when their needs are met by special people that they know, trust and respect. Children can concentrate and learn more effectively by having a key person who is attentive and knows them well and is able to support your child during their nursery day. We believe that an effective key worker relationship enhances a child’s personal, social, and emotional development making every other aspect of learning and development easier.
Your child’s key person is their secure base allowing them to thrive at nursery, they will observe your child to identify how they learn through their play whilst knowing what interests them and how they can extend upon that to enhance their learning and development. They will celebrate their achievements and will monitor if there is any cause for concern or need for extra support.
Continuity of attention from key people who know children well, who are interpreting and responding to their gestures and cues enable children to attend to their inclinations and to play freely. Rustin et al (1997) in Department for Education 2005 Birth to Three Matters (England)

Our Parternship with Parents 🤝👨👩👧👦👏
We value the partnership between parents/carers and nursery and aim to strengthen and build on this by having an open-door policy, valuing communication as a two-way process, offering support and advice as children reach their milestones and sharing information. Chloe has realised that demographics have changed over recent years, with families quite often have no extended family leaving near, as a result and to strengthen the family feel that we promote Friends of Clevercloggs meetings were implemented.
Our regular Friends of CleverCloggs meetings allow parents/carers to meet the parents/carers of their children’s friends in an informal setting sharing nursery information and forming friendships. This helps in promoting the family feel which we feel makes us different from the franchises and nursery chains.
